Dr. David Paden received a Bachelor's of Science in Earth Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University and Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He completed a 1-yr residency in referral-based optometry with an emphasis in ocular disease at OMNI Eye Services of New Jersey. As a resident, Dr. Paden lectured to referring optometrists on topics such as macular holes, retinopathy of prematurity, and Terson's Syndrome. He was awarded a 10-yr membership plaque from the American Optometric Association in 2010. His non-optometric affiliations include the Boiling Springs Lions Club, the Alumni Blue Band Association, the Penn State Alumni Association, and attends Carlisle Evangelical Free church. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog Tehya, playing trumpet and basketball, biking, singing (occasional karaoke), reading the Bible and John Grisham books, and occasional video gaming.
