Dr. David Paden received a bachelors degree in Earth Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University and Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He completed a one year residency in referral-based optometry with an emphasis in ocular disease at OMNI Eye Services of New Jersey. As a resident, Dr. Paden lectured to referring optometrists on topics such as macular holes, retinopathy of prematurity, and Terson’s Syndrome. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Central Pennsylvania Optometric Society. His non-optometric affiliations include the Boiling Springs Lions Club, the Alumni Blue Band Association, the Penn State Alumni Association, the Carlisle Penn State Booster Club, and attends Carlisle Evangelical Free Church.
