Dr. Jack Stern has practiced optometry in Frederick County, Maryland for more than 30 years concentrating in general optometry, ocular pathology, and contact lenses. Dr. Stern earned a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Visual Science from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1978 and completed his externship at the Optometric Center of Maryland in Baltimore. He is board certified in ocular therapeutics in Maryland, Virginia, and Florida and a member of the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association. Outside of work, Dr. Stern is an aficionado of vintage British sports cars. Dr. Stern has been with Allegany Optical for 20 years.
