Dr. Nina Dalsania Makadia is originally from Ontario, Canada. She earned a B.S. in Applied Biology from Ferris State University and received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. At the Inter American University, she completed rotations at six clinics, four of which were hospital based, and she interned at eyecare centers in Duluth, GA; Brooklyn, NY; and Allentown, PA. Dr. Dalsania Makadia is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Virginia Optometric Association. Dr. Dalsania Makadia’s practice includes primary eye care, fitting and evaluation of contacts lenses, and evaluation of patients with cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetes. Her interests include the arts, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
