Dr. Patrick Fleming grew up in Ravenswood, West Virginia the youngest of five children. He graduated cum laude from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a degree in biology, and received his doctor of optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, receiving clinical honors in primary eye care and low vision rehabilitation. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the West Virginia Optometric Association.

After graduation from optometry school Dr. Fleming relocated to Martinsburg, West Virginia to practice optometry with Allegany Optical and is licensed to practice optometry in WV, VA, MD and PA. In addition to seeing patients weekly in Martinsburg, he is a managing member for Allegany Optical.

Dr. Fleming is married to his college sweetheart, Leigh, and has two children. He enjoys all sports, studying nutrition and health, and keeping up with new developments in the eye care industry.
