Dr. Mohammad Ashfaq graduated with his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College in Multan, Pakistan where he also completed his ophthalmology residency. He was then a Resident Medical Officer in ophthalmology for three years and completed his fellowship in cornea and anterior segment from Punjab Medical College, graduating as a Member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in ophthalmology. For fifteen years, Dr. Ashfaq practiced ophthalmology in world class international health care institutions and was a master trainer for the treatment of diseases of the anterior segment in the World Health Organization. After earning his Doctorate in Optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston, he worked at the world renowned Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He is expert in treating ocular diseases and hard to fit contact lenses. Dr. Ashfaq’s education and experience are a unique combination of optometry and ophthalmology.
