Dr. Sheetal Haria is a graduate from the University of Maryland with a baccalaureate degree in biology. She earned an additional bachelor’s degree in visual sciences and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She then interned with some of the nation’s top ophthalmologists at the Katzen Eye Center, Eye Doctors of Washington, Prado Vision & LASIK Center, and at Indian Health Services Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.

Dr. Haria has been practicing as an optometrist in the Washington, DC, area since 2005. She specializes in comprehensive eye care and the medical management of eye disease. She also specializes in cosmetic contact lens fitting including toric, bifocal, high prescriptions, therapeutic contact lenses and RGP’s. She also possesses experience in pre- and post-operative ophthalmic surgical care including the latest laser refractive procedures like LASIK and PRK.

Dr. Haria is board certified in Maryland and District of Columbia. In her spare time, Dr. Haria likes to keep up with world news, spend time with family, run, hike, and travel.
